How it works

  1. Start with what you know

    Enter a CVE, software name, and installed version manually, or upload a CSV containing usable CVE and software details.

  2. Search the sources

    CVE-wizard queries vendor sources where available and falls back to public vulnerability sources when needed.

  3. Review the result

    Results can include a likely patched version, patch links or commands, a match-quality grade, and version references found in source text.

A lookup assistant, not an oracle.

External sources can be unavailable, incomplete, or difficult to parse, and some results are inferred from imperfect input. An empty Patched Version field does not mean that no update exists. The Grade column indicates match quality, and Mentions should be checked in context before being relied on.
